The group is called The Maccabeats. They are 14 students from Yeshiva University in NYC who decided to form an a capella group that combines contemporary musical styles with traditional Jewish forms. They seem like a really interesting bunch of guys.

Sounds like popular groups from my high school days.
Some of my students shared another alternative to those song lyrics:
"I throw my homework in the air sometimes, saying oh well, I'll get a zero..."
I like this version better.
