Wooly Bully

I'm getting rid of the last of my old albums and 45's in preparation for moving.  My second son owns two jukeboxes, but he didn't think this should be one of the ones on his list.

I read years ago that Sam ended up a commercial fisherman in New Orleans.

Sam the Sham and his ever-loving Pharaohs. I expect that in the fullness of time much of the music we enjoyed then will have passed from our cultural awareness, leaving Sam the Sham and maybe Tommy James and the Shondells to hold our cultural banner of the 60s.

Did you know that Sam The Sham was in a movie? "The Fastest Guitar In The West"; He was the "First Expressman", a walk-on bit. You can look it up on IMDB.

Wikipedia had a link to an LA Times interview which includes part of his deckhand history.
