James over at "I Don't Know, But..." mentioned in passing that recipe sites are notorious for being infected, as are washing-machine repair sites. I had not known this. I have about 40 recipes bookmarked and other recipes that I routinely search because I mix aspects of more than one, such as Chicken Marsala. I occasionally browse, though I quickly get frustrated with the site that asks lots of questions about what categories I like (there may be more than one of those), and switch that off.
What sort of bad things are happening?
