I always loved these films as a kid, so I knew the Clouseau line as soon as I saw the title.

Blake Edwards always did a great job casting character actors for his films. Graham Stark was one of my favorites, he was in most of them. He and Sellers had entertained RAF troops together during WWII and he was also a highly accomplished portrait photographer that exhibited worldwide. He was a scream in Victor Victoria.

Thanks for that. Sellers was hit or miss, but when he was good he was very good. I won't bother linking, but there's some classic Goon Show stuff (you know where to look). That reminded of the BBC Spaghetti Harvest story, also easily found.

And BTW youtube offered me some wonderful Bach options, so it's all good this morning.
