Saying the Quiet Part Out Loud
I got it after it was explained to me. But after raising kids, and running across too many people who love being seen as put-upon, my reaction is still: "It's about the nail; the objective and not the subjective."
That is my take-away as well, whatever the intent of the filmmaker was.
