We were there last weekend, and know the others in this video as well. Sap is still flowing, and this is a record year for every producer in the area.

I originally read that as: "Video of cute child-eating pancakes closes segment." It was both jarring and charming.
That would be alarming, yes. We have very little of that among the pancakes up here.
Yeah. NY is 'record year' syruping too, in volume and quality of sap & resultant syrup.
Now we just have to wait a few years until it's too warm for sugar maple trees....Ah, Canada.
