Side-Effects

On my favored theme of labeling legislation and regulations for side-effects and expected effects, the same as we do for pharmaceuticals and to a lesser extent, food, financial products, and other purchases, there is this excellent article Two Cheers For The Welfare State.  I think most conservatives assent to this view of significant government intervention in areas of justice and system, but caution about possible unintended consequences.  Just really ticked at being accused of wanting no government at all whenever they question any new thing.
