Have graphic designers started fooling around with adding stars to the flag, depending on Greenland, 1-13 for Canada, Lord knows what else?

52= 6x4 with 7x4, or 7x4 with 8x3
53= 8x4 with 7x3
54= 9x6 (maybe we should aim for that)
....

Horrible idea -- think of the expense of replacing all the old flags.
Adding Greenland as a state is silly, of course. Maybe we could add it as a county to New Hampshire?
Now that I think of it, which state would it best be part of? Alaska is the obvious choice, but Florida might like a place to cool off in the summer.
Exactly. Or we could do 8*7 for 56 states as famously claimed
