The dragon in the Faerie Queene is called Error (or Errour). When the Redcrosse Knight attacks her in her lair, a thousand baby dragons climb into her mouth to get away from the intruder. When he wounds her, she vomits all of them back out, but now they have turned into books and papers. It is all meant to represent the printing press, that great dispenser of error over the previous 100 years.
These days we would name the dragon Twitter.
