Never lost my affection for that guy. He could play the same schtick over and over again, and my only complaint is that there isn't enough of it.

I much preferred him when he did rock and roll with the First Edition. But a great talent.

Now that brings back my childhood. My father loved those movies. I recall a scene from "You Can't Cheat an Honest Man" where W.C. Fields whittles in order to needle wooden dummy Snerd, and every so often lets his knife slip off his whittling to take a swipe at the rope tethering Snerd's hot-air balloon.
