Walk Away Renee
I'm not seeing those violins, nor that flute.
Come to think of it, I'm not hearing that rhythm guitar, which I actually do see.
YouTube is very good for showing how many performers covered a song. A very surprising list on this one: Four Tops, Linda Ronstadt, Cyndi Lauper, Southside Johnny, Bon Jovi...
I sang this with the band Carroll County in college as well. One of my favorites.

I hadn't heard that in a long time and had completely forgotten it. Very nice. I'm off to iTunes to find some covers and choose one.
I just listened to a lot of covers, but settled on The Left Banke.
