Road Rally Testing

If you aren't Boethius, Jonathan, or Lauren and you're doing the road rally, you'd better get in touch with me fast. Tomorrow, 4:30, Concord. We've got spares if you need them.

The family of Boethius as well as Boethius would like to thank AVI for the dinner following the Road Rally. We had a great time participating and these types of things bring us closer together.

The love amongst your family members is oh so evident and your granddaughter is too cute. You are a blessed man, AVI. Happy Birthday tomorrow. Have fun in Boston.

Thank you. Nice to finally meet you as well, and figure out our many connections (note: evangelicals in southern NH, kids the same age, we're all connected somehow). The Boethians are a bright bunch. We weren't keeping official score, but a few minor time-savers would have given them first place if we had. Not bad for their first try.

I am never quite conscious of how we look as a family when people come over, but our interaction is what folks usually comment on. We genuinely enjoy each other's company, and that must be the dominant impression. The younger generation had friends that add nicely to the mix. Conversational groups form and reform, with the end result being that you regret not having been part of a particular combination. Babies, the uninitiated, and the overstimulated retreat, and the party draws to a close, never quite having been finished.

Imagine what it would have been like with Ben, Chris, Samantha, and either of my brothers present. Or our noisy small group.

It's close to my picture of heaven, except we apparently sing more there.

If that's the case, you men better start putting more practice time into the Hallelujah Chorus. If Jesse Tree is any indication, we'll be making a lot of joyful "noises" without much in the way of beautiful music!
