I do admire the humor of the Scots. I mentioned to the woman covering one of the gift shops at a prehistoric site that my wife seemed to be no longer in evidence in either the shop or the exhibit.
"Are you trying to find her, then, or are you hoping to leave her here?"
"Well, I've always left with her eventually, but sometimes it takes considerable effort."
"Perhaps some sort of tracking device would be helpful."
