With some of the radio Gunsmoke episodes came an ad for Post Toasties, described in an ear worm of a jingle as "The best thing to happen to corn since the Indians discovered it." Setting aside the fact that the Indians actually crossbred plants to produce corn, the fact is I'd never heard of the cereal before. The jingle rang a tad hollow to me.
