There's a Vermont business called "Meercat Pest Control" that has many outdoor advertisements on roads entering the state from NY and MA. I wouldn't have thought there was much need for such a thing in Vermont's climate. But I also can't say I've ever seen any meercat in the wild in their area of coverage, so perhaps that is because they are very good at the task.
Thomas Doubting -- In the UK, there were prolific TV adverts for an online price-comparison website; ads featuring anthropomorphic aristocratic Russian-emigré meercats. More ascot than bowtie, however: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compare_the_Meerkat

A little meercat (meercat? yes?) is just what I needed this morning. I'm back home after a long weekend of Deep Southern Wedding.

That gentleman needs a bowtie. And a pipe.

Thanks, Douglas2! That's great. Maybe Aleksandr Orlov's American cousin could wear a bowtie?
I saw Deep Southern Wedding open for Blue Oyster Cult in ‘87.
