Someone in the small crowd that wrote the new Jordin Sparks song "Battlefield" has clearly been exposed to the song "Awesome God" at some point - but not enough to recognise that one section is too close to be original. Sing along. Either one.
Not to mention the fact that it's a ripoff of "Awesome God" disguised as a ripoff of Pat Benatar's "Love Is A Battlefield." It excuses its lack of originality with the idea that it's an old song "re-invented," when in fact it's just two old songs mashed-up.
