I get it that you almost have to do something flag-related for the World Cup and the 250th, but I'm not sure they got quite the look they wanted for the Stadium Home jerseys. This is major star Christian Pulisic, BTW
At first glance I thought of gondoliers. Put a straw boater with a long ribbon on that and give him a pole.

Not that you would, but if you ever happened to watch the documentary made by the Hells Angels circa 1980, their NY president wore a similar red-and-white striped shirt as an homage to the character Lee Marvin played in that movie.
I read a report that the 2022 USA team really hated the design for that year, and insisted on player representation in the chice of this year's design.
So the design team looked back at what were the best-selling as replica 'kits' and most positively received by the players for previous USA world-cup teams. This one is intentionally an homage to the 2012 kit, long known as the "Waldo kit"
