Comparison

Rob Henderson: It would be funny to hear someone say, “You know, humor tests only measure how good you are at taking humor tests.” 

In creating the comparison with what people say about intelligence he went through the list. "What does it even mean to say that someone is funny? Different people find different things funny. You can't really measure it, so why do we talk about it at all?  I have a friend that might not be called funny, but he works really hard and he's a better person than a lot of funny people." All these things are true, but ridiculous.  We don't mind one person being funnier than another, so we don't have to downgrade them to make ourselves feel better.
