He's looked better too. He looks confident, he's swinging at good pitches, he seems relaxed, and he's getting around on those 95+ MPH fastballs, too. That big dinger he got of A.J. Burnett was a 95 MPH fastball right in that zone where his swing's looked so bad. It was one of those "hey, he's back!" moments.
I hope it lasts because it will stifle all of the "too bad we didn't sign Texeira" comments. Who is in first place?
