Glenn Reynolds is posting spring pictures. Tigerhawk, Classical Values, and even Maggie's Farm are posting spring pictures. No, I'm not linking to any of 'em. Bastards.
I'm going up north of Bangor on Saturday though, and I imagine it's even worse up there. So I'll be better soon, because they'll resent my coming up from the sunny south.

I've been posting Spring pictures too, but you'd have to call me the other b-word I think... :)

I've got more snow up here than even down where you are, but not as much as in the mountains. Three days ago, we were visited by an insurance adjuster. About three or four weeks ago, a substantial buildup of ice and snow on our roof slid off all at once. The impact of it, combined with the weight of the ice and snow already existing on the deck, conspired to crush it. Not completely, but it did break it away from the house and mash parts of it so that it is much closer to the ground than it was. The resulting pile of snow was a foot or so higher than the deck railing.
So once the glaciers recede (there is about 9 inches of ice now under all the snow) the insurance company will be buying us a new deck. It only awaits the complete melting of the snow.
Crocuses, daffodils and new decks. Gotta love spring.
