Wind Off The Hilltop

I went to pub night at St Anselm's and only Earl Wajenberg, an occasional commenter here, showed up.  Engineerlite is in Antarctica, and Granite Dad is pretending to be a good parent for a few minutes. The conversation was good.  I seem to attract friends who can carry a whole conversational load, including topic changes, without much help. We had to switch to another room because it is 100 days until graduation, so the seniors came out in force to celebrate.

I realised I have never linked to Earl's site Wind off the Hilltop (a play on his Dutch surname, with reference to Goldberry's reassurance to the hobbits in the house of Bombadil). He is a tech writer whose greater love is writing fantasy/sci-fi.
