53% of Americans believe that religion can solve all of life's problems
46% believe that religion is very important in their lives, which is the same % that say they are members of a church or synagogue.
So 7% think that religion could help, but just can't be bothered. (Ben Dreyfuss.)

Typo. life can solve life
Fixed. Thanks.
Once upon a time I found a mormon believer.
I got one of those letters as Commanding Officr for the Eyes Only.
It said that the good man E6 NUCLEAR POWER Electrican was HIV positive back in 2000. He could not join the unit on deployment.
I flew up to meet him, talked about it.
Later that month he said every single person known to him had shunned him, he lost his job, the Church had shit upon him and he was in despair.
A single letter.
A life destroyed.
That was back when transfusions could kill one.
Did it,
Rather lead men into battle then deal with the US Mail. You may right that any way your like.
Every thing of power is power for good and evil. Religion is not different from that. If God takes a hand, directly— well that’s not faith. That’s a miracle.
The rest is on us, and is good or evil as we are.
