The Beatles and the British explosion ushered in my teen years. I listened very little to the radio until the year before the Beatles came to the US. The Beatles were very good songwriters. A lot of the psychedelic music was good. Yet the pop music of my childhood I listen to most today is the Doo Wop stuff. Their harmonies enchant me- maybe why I also like The Seekers.
