problems with one's friends, having problems with one's boyfriend, or
the problem is that one's boyfriend is a vampire.
My take on most YA stories: Teenage Mutant Ninja Zombie Turtles and their Vampire Lord from outer space try to take over the world but are thwarted by the Alien Trans Back Street Boy Militia cheered on by the Mean Girl's Dystopian Choral Society.
I'm told that the YA market has morphed somewhat. The demographic is older, and expects substantially "spicier" content than you'd expect in a book for mid to older teens. There's a new term of art for the mid teen group. I should look it up.
The Secret to Work-Life Balance: I used to be stressed and overworked. Now, I’m earning over $220/hour working remotely, and I have more time for myself and my family.
