I don't think even my sons know how radical was the change in my thinking during the 1980's. They were children and not much aware of the issue, and by the time it became something they could understand, I was in an entirely different position on the subject.
Aside from the human-interest factor of how a mind changes, I may also have something worth pointing out here. I still have to finish up that political fashion thing, however. I'm not especially organised in the middle of writing the annual Christmas letter every year, and this one's no exception.
