Captcha

There is supposed to be a spot under Settings / Comments to turn off word verification/ CAPTCHA.  There isn't.  Anyone know how?

You are on the right page. Third item from the bottom. It says Show word verification for comments? It says nothing about a Captcha, but if you follow the learn more link that is what it is. Now I will see if I am reading these two squiggles correctly.

Are you using the new blogger interface? My previous comment applies to the old interface. I just noticed the offer to try the new interface (mine is a sadly neglected blog). In the new interface, up in the upper right corner there is a gear for Blogger options and one of the choices is Old Blogger Interface. I hope this helps and is not something that you have already gone round and round with.

I switched over to the old interface, found things as you described, clicked it and switched back. I no longer have captcha when I try to comment, anyway. What do others get?

Hi, this new system sucks. I demand harassment.

The Captcha is gone for me.

Looks like it is going to ask me to sign in with my Google Account after submitting but that sure beats deciphering some Captchas.

Let's give it a try.
Open ID on, and POST!
