Motto

I have come to believe that the motto for every race and tribe in the Middle East is "You have no right to criticise us, because you don't know what we've been through." Which is just an excuse to A) not be criticised, and B) recount for you in numbing detail what they have been through.

I would hasten to add that this motto isn't applied only to Middle East groups but more and more to any North American tribe other than White Males.

And mainly they've been banging on their own heads with hammers. They find it very easy to criticize me and "us", though.

As we are talking about the Middle East, this could also be phrased, "You have no right to criticize us over what we've put other groups through."

During the Civil Rights upheavals of the 1960s, Atlanta billed itself as “The city too busy to hate.” No one in the Middle East is ever too busy to hate. There is always time for hating in the Middle East. Sit down, relax, have a cup of coffee, or some tea, and start a new hate-fest.

I get glassy-eyed over the Middle East, as in glass could be a very good solution to its problems.

OMG yes, my family is Armenian and they are this way, it drives me freaking nuts.

The weird thing about M-Eers is that every time they meet another M-Eer in the West, even if it is a different 'race', it is automatically a family reunion/scar-sharing story time. Recently I had to talk to a Palestinian about a business matter, and he kept asking me all these questions, like how much Arabic do I know, and how many relatives I still have back in the M-E.

The thing is, in the M-E, Armenians don't associate with Palestinians!!!

It really is a weird quirk, one that I dislike.
