Vote Defensively

No surge for Thompson in the polls that have tended to be the most accurate. I vote for McCain in the morning.

Vote Defensively. There are a lot of liberals out there at the polls.

McCain? The RINO? The same guy who infringed the First Amendment with the McCain-Feingold Act? The same guy who wants to give the country away to illegal aliens, just like his liberal pals Kennedy and Bush?

I just don't get it.

I will say that I find most everything else you write to be thoughtful and intelligent, and I agree with most of it, too.

I know you've had to debate about Thompson in realizing he may not have the best chance of making it all the way. You haven't said much about Huckabee one way or the other. Do you believe his chances to be less or do you not like his views/policies as much as Thompson & McCain's? Just curious.

PH - I discuss it some detail a few posts down. It surprised me, too, for similar reasons to the ones you mention. I'm a War on Terror voter, I guess.

Or maybe I just like irritable old guys, as my other choice was Thompson. I disagree with Giuliani a lot, but I like his personality. Another grouchy old guy. No more charisma. I don't trust it.

Erin - the AVI's wife voted for Huckabee, but I consider him to be almost a Democrat on economic issues, so I haven't mentioned it much. Okay, maybe not that bad. He's Zell Miller.
