Third World Myths

Not only is the information about what is really happening in 3rd World health and wealth stunning in this video of a speech by Hans Rosling, the animations illustrating his data are immensely cool. I watched the speech twice just to watch the projections run again. It isn't often that an audience applauds the way data is presented and asks for a replay.

Three times. I just watched it again. (At California Yankee, HT Maggie's Farm.)

Wow, what a great video. Listening to the news, you'd never think that things had gotten (or are getting) better.

Early in the presentation, the good Doctor makes the point that Swedish students' predictions of infant mortality were substantially worse than could be predicted by chance.

Several months ago you posted an article that pointed out that Swedish students' knowledge of what life was like behind the Iron Curtain was woefully ignorant and biased.
Put this together with the Islamist takeover of Sweden, aided and abetted by the elite politicos.

Not a pretty picture for Sweden.
