These keep coming up on my YouTube sidebar, and are usually interesting. I get a few, but mostly I am kicking myself and saying "I should have seen that."
I always hated the lip sync performances. My recollection is that when the Smothers Brothers came along, they allowed live performances. I think Ed Sullivan allowed some, but it was rare on AB in the 60's. Nice to hear Otis Redding. I don't think I heard of him until he died.
There was about a year when the browser must have gotten its cache confused, and half the time it would show the wrong video image--the second time the page rendered.
I have had the situation where it would show me the immediately previous video instead, for which the solution was to close the tab entirely and reload it. That hasn't been the case recently. And i never had it skip that many videos.

The wrong video must be playing on your device. The American Bandstand one was over a week ago.
Either that or you've been caught in that time warp thing again.

I'll go with any of those theories. The correct image came up today!
Geometric puzzles make me happy.
