I have not been able to find my favorite Nichols & May 'Gansett Beer commercial, but I located its equivalent, where Nichols & May are flogging Jax Beer: I'm Making Fun of Her.
So, were Jax and Narragansett different companies and the same commercials were flogged to both? I remember the “Gansett commercials from Boston in the 60’s.

Apparently virtually identical commercials were run by the two companies. Jax, as in Jacksonville, was in Florida.
