I wonder what those numbers look like on a per-person-represented basis. Not that it matters hugely when the group has little or no say in what their representatives do, of course, but it would be interesting to see the data scaled that way too. There are about 14.7M labor union members, and about 1.2M lawyers according to a quick googling. I don't know how lawyers donate--individually or by law firm or by association? Individually: you're seeing what lawyers think. Not so sure about the other cases. With the labor unions we're seeing what the union bosses want.
