Haul Away, Joe

This is a very Portsmouth event to have happen, and it's a very Portsmouth-looking crowd. Unsurprisingly, they have excellent seafood restaurants there, and even the hole-in-the-wall places are good. I think this is my son Ben's first choice of where to live if he ever moves back to NH.

David Coffin has an impressive set of pipes, doesn't he?

Grim alerted me to his YouTube channel and he has a nice selection of traditional hymns sung solo with organ accompaniment

I posted some videos from this event once, some years back I think, and you said you hadn’t been able to locate information about the festival in order to attend it. Have you since? It seems like good fun.

It is no longer being held live, AFAIK. There was a virtual something this year. I should work on this more.

If you want to ask him, you can probably comment on his YouTube channel.

He also has a website:

It looks like they had a concert in Rockport as recently as 2020, but probably have held off through the pandemic. Hopefully he feels like it's possible to return to it at some point. I've admired his skill in this area for a long time.
