Hagler-Hearns

It has been called the greatest middleweight fight of all time.  Round One is certainly like nothing ever seen.  I was a fan of both fighters, but more of Hagler, who had a vacation place up in Conway, NH, near where we went camping.

People remember the Hagler-Leonard fight more, but Marvin gave that one away, trying to get paid instead of  negotiate with Leonard's camp.  The negotiations for how the fight was going to be conducted ended up being 12 rounds - advantage Leonard; lighter gloves - advantage Leonard; bigger ring - advantage Leonard.  If Hagler had negotiated any one of those in his favor, he wins. As close as that one looked, this one was the better fight.

The video quality isn't great, but you can tell what is going on.
