Okay, I'm paying attention again. I was not so excited about getting Ray Allen, and I hate to lose Al Jefferson; but Garnett, Pierce, Allen, this season, in the weak Eastern Conference? I like it.

I'm wit' you. The Big Ticket in Boston? Nice move. My only regret is sending Gerald Green as part of the deal. He'd have looked good as the guy off the bench for either Pierce or Ray Allen.
Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. Hah, my two favorite NBA players are now playing for my team. Does it get any better than this?
I still worry about Allen's age, and everyone's durability. Last year we had two legitimate NBA starters and a million guys in the 6-10 slots in the rotation. This year we have 3 All-Stars and a handful of rotation guys. It's an improvement. No one better get hurt, though.
Let's see, if Tony Allen really can be a lockdown defender, and Rajon Rondo improves steadily, and Kendrick Perkins is healthy...
