History Review

Stephen Bainbridge reviews Roberts' History of the English-Speaking Peoples Since 1900 , which is consciously a follow-on to Churchill's 4-volume work. It looks quite interesting, and includes this pointed quote from Lord Salisbury:

"England is, I believe, the only country in which, during a great war, eminent men write and speak as if they belonged to the enemy"
