Orkney Scotch

 

If you look at the middle of the top section, you will see that it includes a scotch that is about 128 proof.  I am told that any strength over 90 has the alcohol interfering in the taste, but I only know what read in the papers. I have no expertise here. I liked the Deer Sound just fine and stuck with that.

I had a quick one at The Bothy, the pub on the back side of the hotel, and watched a man put a single drop of Grand Marnier into his single malt. It sounds like a good idea, but I don't keep that liqueur on hand, so I can't report on that for you.
