AVI is still not feeling great this week, so posting will likely be limited to non-existent. However, a potential diagnosis has been found so that is a good sign. Many more posts to come I am sure.
I'm glad there's a straightforward way forward. This was weird: "Sometimes it can be difficult to distinguish between Babesia and Plasmodium" I noticed that quinine is in the list of treatments.
Update: Diagnosis is Babesia.
