Celtics backup center Luke Kornet has a strange strategy on blocking 3-pointers. Instead of going out to try and block the shot, leaving the rim open and unprotected, he gets up in the air and blocks the view of the rim instead. It decreases the shooter's percentage enough to be about five team points total for the year thus far. He was willing to look ridiculous and it seems to be paying off just a bit. Plus whatever it is worth to be in better position for the rebound. It is often the bench players and guys just hanging on who become coaches and create new stuff.
