Anger is one of the ordinary elements of grief. I'm sorry for your friend; though I hope he might survive, whether he does or not, it's not odd to be angry about it. It's also not odd not to know where to put that anger, and so to put it everywhere it might fit. We've all done it. Give yourself room.
