Doesn't sound like anyone's mind has changed there. What I'm expecting someday is for gays themselves to lobby for a separate institution as they find that marriage laws (and particularly the punitive restrictions on adultery) aren't always a good fit. That won't happen until they feel like they can say that they've made their point on equality, and now want to structure a relationship that will be considered equally respectable but that is more authentic to an all-male lifestyle in which sex is for pleasure and procreation is not an issue (though adoption may be, in which case marriage is more obviously a fitting approach).
