John Lennon's piano is more valuable because somebody is willing to pay more for it than an identical one. Not that JL's is better, but there's some kind of emotional connection. Unreasonable, for sure, but it exists. Provenance is all.
Also, visualization seems to work to focus the mind on making your body do what it's practiced for so long.
I do know that regardless of me visualizing a correct attack in fencing, accomplishing that attack correctly is a crap shoot. And my defense is worse.
