Steve Sailer has some commentary here, on the graphs originally from the NYT. Yes, they do expand.
I'm guessing that Burger King's spot reflects people who think Well, at least I'm asserting my independence by not going to McDonald's, and Dunkins just reflects New England voters.
Interesting.
ReplyDelete1) If Pubs are such troglodytes, according to the long-held lib/Demo narrative, then howcum they are using the Internet more, according to the graphs?
2) Note that job searching is a Demo leaner. Does this mean that Demos are more likely to be out of a job? It is certainly true for blacks, whose unemployment rate is about double that of whites- and blacks are overwhelmingly Demos. Are white Demos more likely to be out of work than white Pubs? Probably so: compare the unemployment rate of Pub stronghold Texas versus the unemployment rate of Demo stronghold California.
Which can bring forth a nor very complimentary slogan: Democrats vote for food stamps- Republicans vote for jobs.

Burger King burgers are just better, I think, especially the buns...also, some of the BK restaurants around here have a much nicer ambience than McD.
ReplyDeleteI was disappointed that BK retired their "king" mascot...now Obama won't have an easy way to practice his bowing...
It's just that flame broiled taste.
ReplyDeleteI must say, however, that while in MI I enjoyed the occasional trip to White Castle. A special treat!
The Internet usage describes me pretty well, but I don't frequent any of those restaurants. I would frequent a Schlotsky's if we had one -- I love Schlotsky's -- but we don't. And I'm a Sonic girl. I didn't see Sonic on there.
ReplyDeleteWhoops, there it is. Yep, solid R.
ReplyDeleteVery worthwhile post. Esp. the stands used to secure the brain. I wouldn't have noticed this by myself. Must look carefully at aged photographs to find out this particular characteristic.
