Yeah, but you can't beat Mr. T. I have a Hulu.com account now, and have been watching A-Team reruns. I'm surprised at how well-written some of the dialogue is. The bad guys are laughable: "You're dead meat, sucker!" is the toughest thing they can bring themselves to say. All I had remembered from childhood was the shooting. But what else is a 12 year-old boy going to remember?
I think I have only seen one episode of the A-Team. In it, a rural restaurant owner is going to have the place foreclosed on or whatever, and the A-Team saves the day by getting a big star to play a benefit concert in the heart of country musicland to raise money. The big star is Boy George. "Everybody loves Boy George!" Mr. T burbles excitedly. Everyone taps their feet and smiles during the big number.
There are others, apparently.
