When we were in the Czech Republic a couple of years ago, we attended a performance featuring folk music on a hammer dulcimer the size of a baby grand, very old. I didn't know they were part of the cultural heritage in Eastern Europe, I had always associated them with the conventional dulcimers of Appalachia, but they are. Did you come across them in your journeys in the area?
