It's a two-edged sword. Sometimes a stigma needs to be removed, but other times "destigmatization" is about stigmatizing and discrediting important facts.
Some context? What were they being stigmatic about?
In this case, psychopathy. Some people think we should not be saying that about anyone. They allowed that there is something to that, as the word is ill-defined but clearly negative.
