Saying the Quiet Part Out Loud
My roommate in college used to affect an Upper East Side accent and recite this unmusically in the early 70s. Hysterical, but...maybe you had to be there.
That song has been in my head for 24 hours now, thank you very much.
I have been told that the cure for an earworm is to sing the whole song out loud, start to finish. I have found that this works...sometimes.As I recall, you live far enough away from neighbors that you could try that.
Liberace kind of missed an opportunity by not showcasing the Osmonds there.
