Saying the Quiet Part Out Loud
I saw this band's name on the WKBR Good Guys Top 30 list before I had heard anyone say it. I thought it was pronounced Krickle.
They were ahead of their time. I see "creative" spelling of first names in the parade of teenagers that go through my office. My first take is often like yours with this band name.
