The days will shorten even more in the next week, but this is about the minimum length of day for them. The sun rises around noon and sets around 4pm. This photo of Granddaughter #4, Quinn, was taken around 3:30. She is half Romanian and half Filipina, and my son makes fun of her by calling her a gypsy. She does look rather Roma, and fortunately there is no one within hundreds of miles of her who actually is Roma to be annoyed. I think she's pretty adorable, actually.
