A malaria vaccine based on new Covid vaccine development techniques looks promising - in an area where development had stalled. Taking Covid seriously has had positive effects. This is being quickly forgotten.
"No serious adverse events were reported." That's a big deal. The same couldn't be said of earlier efforts.
There is reason to hope that mRNA vaccines shall have a wonderful future, and doubtless this crisis helped bring it if that future arrives.
